Headway is the UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury.

They have a network of more than 125 groups across the UK, providing support, services and information to brain injury survivors. My brother-in-law Jamie suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2011 and as soon as he was discharged from his specialist rehab hospital, Headway was there to step in and support him in adjusting to life back in the real world. They helped to give him a daily purpose while he got back on his feet, also providing a valuable platform for him to share his experiences with other brain injury survivors

They do brilliant work with survivors of brain injury, supporting them and their families, and they also aim to increase the understanding of brain injuries, as well as campaigning to reduce the number of incidences.
